Mueller looks like a 'fool' and Pelosi is a 'disgrace': Trump in Normandy

US President Donald Trump on Thursday gave his views on both US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Special Counsel Robert Mueller shortly before attending a ceremony to mark the 75th WWII anniversary of D-Day in Normandy, France.

"I think she's a disgrace... She's a nasty, vindictive, horrible person," Trump told the Fox News Channel during a taped interview at the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial in Colleville-sur-Mer shortly before the commemorations began.

Pelosi is under pressure from some Democrats to begin impeachment of Trump, who last week called impeachment "a dirty, filthy, disgusting word."

Trump also said Mueller, who oversaw a much-anticipated probe into Russian interference in the 2016 US presidential election, had made a "such a fool out of himself."

Last week, Mueller made his first public comments since starting the investigation in May 2017, saying his probe was never going to end with criminal charges against Trump but he did not clear the Republican president and indicated it was up to Congress to decide whether he should be impeached
