PM from Karachi: Imran clinches all 5 seats in Pakistan elections

In Karachi, Imran beat his high profile rival MQM’s Syed Ali Raza Abidi quite easily garnering 91,358 votes
Imran Khan swept all five seats across Pakistan as his party PTI gets set to form the next government in Pakistan.
The PTI chairman had already clinched the Mianwali seat in Lahore and Islamabad Thursday, he topped it today by winning Nowshera and Karachi.

In Karachi, Imran beat his high profile rivalMQM’s Syed Ali Raza Abidi quite easily garnering 91,358 votes with Abidi winning just 24,082 votes. Imran had campaigned under the slogan "Wazir-e-Azam Karachi se" (Prime Minister from Karachi).
Similarly, Imran who hails from Lahore, beat PML-N’s Saad Rafique winning 84,313 votes. However, his margin for victory was rather narrow as Rafique won 83,633 votes as the poll battle went down to the wire with the Pathan from Lahore clinching the "match in the last over".
The prime minister-in-waiting, however, had no such trouble in Nowshera securing 52,376 votes as he beat ANP's Khan Khattak who managed 41,678 votes.

In the prestigious Islamabad 2 seat, Imran won a whopping 92,891 votes beating former Pakistan PMShahid Khaqan Abbasi who could get just 44,314 votes.
On Thursday as the ballot boxes were opened, Imran had scored a quick victory in Mianwali in Lahore. In the final analysis, the PTI chief took 162,499 votes trouncing his PML-N rival Obaidullah Shadikhel who finished runner-up with 49,505 votes.
