South Korean President Moon Jae-in and his wife Kim Jung-sook arrived in Delhi on Sunday for a four-day official visit to India.

This is the first-ever official trip of Moon to India.
Both the countries will be holding dialogues on a wide range of bilateral, regional and global issues during Moon's visit to India. The President is accompanied by a large delegation including his wife.
While the main engagement with Modi government in Delhi will by July 10, the Indian PM and South Korean president will visit Gandhi Smriti and Samsung plant in Noida. Indian PM Modi had visited South Korea in May 2015.
The visit is expected to open new avenues of partnership, particularly in the economic domain. Korean brands like Samsung, Hyundai, LG are household names in India. They are contributor and partner of Indian govt's flagship programmes like digital India, Skill India, Make in India. The bilateral trade between the two countries passed $20 billion in 2017.
