'Gold' trailer: Akshay Kumar's patriotic fever will catch up on you

Akshay Kumar is back with another film titled Gold that will make you swell with patriotism, at least the trailer suggests that the film has its moments.
Releasing on August 15, the trailer of the film that released today is high on national spirit and of course the lead star himself.
Gold traces the golden eraof Indian hockey via the life of sportsman Tapan Das played by Akshay who wants to play for independent India and dreams of winning gold for his country. In actual reality, the dream nurtured and took shape after 12 years of constant struggle before it materialised in the year 1948. As you watch the trailer, you feel the burning passion of Tapan.
TV star Mouni Roy is also seen making her debut with the film as she plays Akshay's wife.
The film also stars Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Kumar Singh and Sunny Kaushal. It is being produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the Excel Entertainment banner.
