The Ambani and Mehta families sent out a Save the Date video that is a perfect mix of technology and tradition
Mukesh and Nita Ambani's elder son Akash Ambani will now get formally engaged in a traditional ceremony on June 30, 2018. The respective families have sent Save the Date video to the invitees.
The Save the Date video has song ‘Shubhaarambh’ from the movie 'Kai Po Che' as the background music and is being sent by parents of Akash and Shloka, Nita and Mukesh Ambani and Mona and Russell Mehta.
The engagement ceremony will take place at the Ambani residence in the city.
Earlier this year, Akash proposed to girlfriend Shloka in Goa, in the presence of their families. TheAmbanis followed it with a pre-engagement bash at their luxurious residence Antilla. Bollywood who’s who was invited at the bash including some popular stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar and Aamir Khan.

The new couple was also spotted at the Siddhivinayak temple after the bash to seek blessings along with their close family members.
Shloka and Akash were also seen at Sonam Kapoor’s wedding in Mumbai to her longtime boyfriend Anand Ahuja.
The couple will tie the knot this December in a four-five day ceremony at a plush hotel in Mumbai.
Incidentally, Akash’s twin sister, Isha Ambani also got engaged to boyfriend Anand Piramal last month. Their wedding will also take place in December.
