
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has finally ended his strikeafter 9 days of protest at the Lieutenant Governor's house in Delhi.
The protest was called off after the Lieutenant Governor sent a letter to the CM requesting him to urgently meet the officers in the Secretariat.
The LG said that the "apprehensions and concerns of both sides can be suitably addressed through dialogue in the best interest of the people of Delhi".
The LG's request followed after Deputy CM Manish Sisodiarequested for convening a meeting with officers.
The Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal had been camping at the official accommodation-cum-office of L-G since last Monday.
The protest staged along with Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Cabinet ministers Satyendra Jain and Gopal Rai sought an end to the Delhi IAS officers' undeclared strike and approval to his government's proposal for doorstep delivery of ration to the poor.
