Nick Jonas reveals romance with Priyanka Chopra 'wrote itself' on chat show

For all the curious souls like us who wanted to know how Priyanka Chopra met with American singer, Nick Jonas can now sit tight as the man of the hour has finally opened up about his high-on-glamour love story.

Appearing on 'The Tonight Show'starring Jimmy Fallon, Nick spiltbeans on his romance with the ‘Quantico’ star and said, "The story sort of wrote itself."

"We met through a friend, so we got connected first over text and we started talking for a while and it was about six months before we met up in person,” he said.

Speaking to Jimmy, Nick said, "Our lives were kind of taking us in different places."

After spending some time together vacationing and being pictured together, the two then sparked romance rumours, however, Nick maintained that it was just “platonic”. He said, "People thought we were being coy, and so did we until we cut to now (and) we're engaged. So, the story sort of wrote itself."

On his relationship status changing track quite soon, Nick said, "It was kind of immediate, and I think we just knew it was right and jumped right in. And we're very happy."

He also revealed the couple's nickname on the show-- "Prick", one that can be attributed to Priyanka.

Nick and Priyanka, reportedly got engaged on her birthday in London. The couple then organised a traditional Indian 'roka' ceremony in Mumbai, India, last month and threw an engagement party for friends in Bollywood. They were recently spotted at Ralph Lauren's show during New York Fashion Week.
