Former Indian captain MS Dhoni, 37, on the last legs of his career will be a key player in the clash against arch-rivals Pakistan next Wednesday.
Ahead of the crucial encounter, as both teams gathered in Dubai for their practice session, Shoaib Malik walked up to Dhoni and casually shook hands with the former Indian captain as the two chatted for a while but what the two men discussed we will never know!
India's stand-in captain Rohit Sharma will be banking on Dhoni to put India past Pakistan on September 19th. Dhoni averages a strong 55.91 against the Asian giants with a strike rate of 90.51.
India's former World Cup winning captain has already hit two centuries against Pakistan, the first being his maiden ton in 2005, coincidentally he was caught by Shoaib Akhtar in that match in Hyderabad falling for a mammoth 148 in just 123 balls coming in as opener, a similar feat would etch his name in the great Asian cricket rivalry forever.
